Days Seven and Eight

Tony and I went to the Mall and got copies of some family history to distribute to my cousins. We grabbed a bite to eat at Swiss Chalet and then came back to Porters.
Mike Grace came for dinner and we had super salmon and rhubarb crisp, etc. After dinner we played Dominoes, the first time since we were in Edmonton in 2006.

Sunday morning we went to the Royal Glenora for brunch with Mike and Rose and the Porters. It was a super buffet and we had lots of laughs. Michael reminded us of dinner at our house with the death of Henry the Hamster. He sends his apologies to Meredith since the boys felt he was the cause of Henry's demise.

After brunch we went over to visit with Gloria and Murray at their place. It was great to see them and we hope to see them at our house next. They are planning a trip to the Maritimes but may include Ontario in it. We came back to Porters and when they arrived home from church we had dinner and then we watched the Battle of the Blades on television.

Tomorrow we are heading for Kelowna but probably won't arrive there until sometime Tuesday.

  2. Wonderful tales of your adventure. The meals sound mouth watering and the pictures are very good. It sounds like a lot of fun. Hope your bones don't seize up though - you are maniacs for driving long distances!
